SPHERUM

Every worker on site, reachable in seconds

One QR at induction. Each worker fills in their own emergency contacts from their own phone — no corporate email, no company handset — and the site reads a live record instead of a stack of forms.

The problem

Collected at induction, if at all. Oldest exactly when it's needed most.

On many sites a worker's emergency contact goes on a paper induction form and is never updated. The worker never sees the form again, nobody has a reason to go back to it, and the crew has changed twice since.

The old way

  • Paper at induction, then filed away
  • No corporate email, so no system to put it in
  • Nobody's job to keep it right

With Spherum

  • The worker keeps it current from their own phone
  • Shared by access, never copied
  • Moves with the worker to the next project

  1. Issue one code, not invitations

A single QR on the induction sheet works for the whole site. Workers need no corporate email and no company handset.

  2. The worker fills in their own record

Emergency contacts first, then whatever the developer asks alongside them. Sign in with an email or a phone number, with the code on WhatsApp.

  3. The site gets a live base

Contacts for everyone on site, kept current by the people they belong to rather than by a document controller.

A developer has staff of its own too: project managers, engineers, site office. See Workplace →

Why it stays current

The record belongs to the worker. That changes everything.

  • They own it, so they keep it

One record under the worker's own sign-in, on their own phone. Not a line on a form they'll never see again.

  • Moves between projects

A worker moves between sites, subcontractors and crews. The record moves with them; each company gets its own grant, and the worker can close it when the job ends.

  • Prompted, not chased

The worker is reminded to confirm their contacts are still right. The site office isn't the one following up.

Duty of care

The worst hour is the wrong time to go looking

UAE labour and OSH rules define what must be reported after an injury and how fast. They do not require a site to hold next-of-kin details in advance, which is exactly why so few do. Spherum doesn't change what the law asks for; it changes whether the answer is already on hand when it's asked.

Not a compliance guarantee and not a substitute for legal advice.

  • Ready in advance

When something happens, the contact for the worker in front of you is on screen, not in a folder on another floor.

  • Care made visible

A developer that took the trouble for every person on site, not only its own staff.

Tokens

A card that moves with the worker, with your name on it

An optional layer on top of the QR. The card is bound to the person, not to the site that handed it out, so whoever scans it reaches the contacts that worker chose to share — on this project, on the next one, and away from work entirely.

Design and order any time. Cards are printed by our production partner, and they work, only while your subscription is active.

Point your phone at it. Mary Major is a demo person; her contacts are made up.

Print one QR for the next induction. The site takes it from there.

Your workspace is ready in minutes. The first crew can join the same morning.
