SPHERUM
How it works

How Spherum works

Spherum lets people own their contacts and grant access to them — and lets companies get that access when they need it.

  1. Owner

A person creates their own contacts — starting with who to call in an emergency.

  2. Sphere

A sphere is a company's space for the contacts it needs — like an emergency sphere for its people.

  3. Grant

A company requests access to the contacts, or asks the person to add them to its emergency sphere. Access is granted.

  4. Revoke

The owner can revoke access at any time.

How the pieces fit

One person's contacts, the spheres that are granted access to them, and the tokens that open the same view. An illustration of how it works, not the product's interface — nothing here is a real record, so take it apart.

  • Person-owned
  • Company-owned

One person owns a set of emergency contacts. Two company spheres hold a grant to that one record — an employer's internal sphere and a clinic's external sphere — and either grant can be revoked by the owner. The tokens are unique IDs that open the same emergency view.

Tokens

A token carries a unique ID and nothing else. Any of the owner's tokens opens the same emergency view.
